Hi! I am Diane Lynn Bahr, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
I have been a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in Maryland since 2006. I have been working with adults who struggle with anger, anxiety, and grief for over 20 years both in public health and private practice. While practicing clinically proven modalities, I begin by getting to know you and your goals and offer you a safe, judgment free zone to heal. I work with people with stressful jobs, first responders, as well as young adults transitioning to the next chapter of their lives.
CREDENTIALS & TRAINING
I graduated from Towson University with a Master’s degree in psychology counseling. I worked in correctional mental health at the Baltimore County, Howard County and Anne Arundel County detention centers providing mental education and services to both detainees as well as staff. I have worked in public health, criminal justice and also worked with residents of Anne Arundel County at the Health Department since 2014. During COVID, I started doing telehealth counseling part time to help individuals navigate the stressful changes in their lives. I am transitioning out of public health and building my private practice where I can better serve individuals in my community and help them thrive.
Get To Know Me
I was raised in Baltimore City, lived in the county as a young adult and moved to Pasadena in 2008 with my husband. I am an avid Orioles, Ravens and Capitals fan. On any given weekend you may spot me out on the Magothy River in my kayak soaking up the sun. My happy place is Ocean City at sunrise on the beach!
